No matter what kind of game you’re playing, character ratings are some of the most crucial factors that shape your in-game experience. NASCAR 26 replicates the feel of real-world NASCAR and ARCA with realistic skill ratings for every single driver, powered by Racing Insights.
Drivers are scored in seven distinct categories: Superspeedway, Speedway, Intermediate, Short Intermediate, Concrete, Road Course, and Martinsville. Those seven numbers come together to create a driver’s Overall rating. You can see the Overall ratings in the Default view, but you can look at a driver’s individual ratings by switching to the Detailed view.
Some drivers excel at certain track types and struggle at others, which brings their rating down; only the best of the best can average out to the elusive 99 Overall rating. Chances are, these are the drivers you’ll be battling for race wins and championships across our game modes.
Don’t like the numbers you’re seeing (even if we’ve updated them in a patch)? Good news: you can fix that. NASCAR 26 gives you the opportunity to edit driver ratings for whoever you’d like. Just pick your driver and tweak to your heart’s content.
Maybe your favorite driver scored a little lower at a given track type than you think they should have. Maybe your least favorite driver won last week and you’d like to take out some aggression on their virtual counterpart. Whatever your motivation is—we won’t judge.
