Welcome to the official NASCAR 26 Career Mode walkthrough! In this series, we’ll give you the inside line on making the most out of your NASCAR 26 career, working your way up from a start-up team in the ARCA Menards Series to the upper echelons of the NASCAR Cup Series.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at the sponsorship that serves as the lifeblood of funding your team, and how to make them look good on track.

Managing and Attracting Sponsors
Thanks to Dale Earnhardt Jr., you’ve been able to start your career with the funding of Jerky Boys. But once you’ve started turning some heads with your finishes, the new sponsor offers will start rolling in. You’ll see a notification to go to your Office between races anytime a new offer comes in, including information on where you’ll need to finish in the next race to get an offer.
You can head to the Office and over to Sponsors to see your current sponsor at any time, and you can always change your incentives per race before heading to the next one. Keep in mind that if you change your incentives, you’re eligible for higher or lower payments depending on what you pick, and your goals in each session will adjust accordingly. But if you’re struggling to reach your goals, sometimes it’s better to lower the possible payout with an easier incentive than it is to go home with nothing—and likewise, don’t forget to bump up the goals if you’ve got a winning car every week!

A Fresh Look
After you sign a new sponsor, you’ll get to pick a new incentive for them. They’ll also automatically be applied to all the primary sponsor slots on your car and hauler.
With that said, you might want to hit the Team section to give yourself a fresh look that reflects your new partner’s colors. The NASCAR 26 Team section allows you to customize your look with dozens of paint schemes for each manufacturer, plus dozens of helmet and firesuit options and the ability to add plenty of layers to create more customized designs. The only limit is your imagination.

Next time, we’ll have a look at how real-world NASCAR personalities shape your career through news updates and one-on-one training opportunities. Stay tuned!
